Romana's arrival to the world of the Voice was by chance, a chance that nowadays tells her why she is in this world.
For this reason, she has learnt that joining technique and emotion, the Voice reaches a vibrating point where everything is possible. Change and release felt by the one singing or making sounds, and the opening and receptivity of the listener.
Born and raised in Morocco, she starts her studies in music and the body in this country, while she feeds herself with the culture. In 1989 she travels to Spain where she studies music and singing. Once Romana finishes them se goes to Senegal to learn with the local master the traditional singing.
Thanks to this long learning path, Romana understands the body and its relation with different music styles; and it is this knowledge that adds richness connection and freedom to everything she expresses while singing.
Romana's creations and collaborations are a large range of performances, rituals and music styles thanks to her capacity to bring together, share and connect her voice to different environments.
Nowadays, we can highlight her collaborations at HeArt (Cirque du Soleil), flamenco shows with Teresa Rojas' company, events at Ritual Ibiza Productions and projects with music productor John Kintar, among others.
Romana has connected all the knowledge and experiences mentioned above with another of her passions, "Voice Luthier". She works as a facilitator and voice coach for singers, dancers, actors and people with any voice problem; and she assists them with the preparation, improvement, proficiency and staging.
